Hot

That pretty much sums up the weather here in the desert!

We came home from church to find a dish returned from a previous delivery. Jess went out to get it and decided he couldn't hold it, he needed a dish towel to bring it in.

Now that is hot.

The kids pretty much live in the pool. That is after they wake around noon! Yes, they are still on Hawaii time and haven't really had a reason to get up earlier. If I wasn't meeting with contractors in the morning (for the mstr. bath) I would probably harp on them to get up. It has actually been really nice not to have them up for those earlier hours. It gives me some good focus time with the workers. You would think they would wake up with all the noise? Nope. Seem to be just fine.

So Scot is gone to work and I am discussing procedures with the trades around 6:30 am. You can see where this is going..........................we are tired at the regular people tired time.

The KIDS are not.

After day 3 of waiting to get them all snug in their beds at 2 am. we finally decided this was not going to work. We just went to bed! That is the first time we have both gone to bed without any of them. Kind of weird.
We told Jack to either get in bed with us or find your way to your own.
Seemed to work out. He was next to us in the morning.

Now this will HALT as soon as this bathroom is completed. Hopefully this week.
But, for now we are all functioning at different hours. Surviving just fine.
