A Storm Trooper, A CAT, and Coach Ditka

Jack was actually a great trooper considering that he had just broke his WEEK LONG fever!
He got this fever on his birthday a week ago and by day 4 I took him in to see the doc. I knew that they would tell me that it was viral and that there was nothing they could do for him. I just needed the peace of mind. I am not sure in all my years of having kids sick that I ever had one fever this long. He stayed home with Mom everyday this week and watched movies, hopped in the bath when he got cold, took motrin, then tylonol, then cuddled with me! That same pattern over and over. This was a fun idea I found in a magazine. It's supposed to be an owl.

COACH DITKA: aka .....SCOT (just in case you weren't sure)
I have to say this was probably the best costume around! And I really think that the legs are what really make it! You just can't get your eyes off of them......ahhhh....
The debut for this lovely ensemble was our family Halloween party where no one wanted to claim knowing him, including his in-laws. The next debut was at our ward neighborhood Halloween carnival. A lady was heard mentioning to her children upon seeing him that she did not want her children to go near him. She later found out who it was and about died. We know there family well. HA. The YW president wanted to share some thoughts on MODESTY!
HE was quite the sight!

My Mom grew up after the depression or maybe during.....not sure that matters, but she is a saver all things none the less! She must have been in charge of bringing the paper goods or something because this is what I saw on the table at our family Halloween party. Oh, and did I mention she was just traveling back east about a week ago? I am sure these were the extras at all the motels she stayed at. Got to love that women! Very resourceful.

Wow Denise, you have been busy!! I love all these posts! My favorite picture (aside from the ones of Scot of course...awesome outfit by the way), is the one of Jack blowing out his candles. That is priceless.

Anyway, talk to you soon...
