We spent several days up in the crisp Autumn air. One of the days we spent going into Oakley. On the way, there is this cute little creek state park that we stopped at.
Dancing with my "BABY"! Not sure how much more I will be able to do this.

We had dinner with Grandma and Grandpa Aubrey on Sunday. They were excited to give Jess his gift for completing his Eagle requirements. This was such a neat book. They had Great Grandpa "B" (Heber) include a drawing of an eagle. So incredible. And this will be so nice to have at his Eagle Court of Honor for guests to sign in. Thanks so much Grandma and Grandpa Aubrey! Truly a treasure.
Part of our Sunday after church we toured the Conference center. This is the Capitol from the roof top. How gorgeous! I just love the red brick building in front of it.
We also went inside the conference center to see the most recent art exhibit they have going. Really neat pieces.

Most of our time we spent back at the cabin in Midway.......where we did lots of things we don't get to do at home in the rush of life. Isn't that why we call it a vacation. I believe this time recharges my batteries so to speak. I love to get away from all the noise. Not only did we just sit and take in the scenery from the front yard we also watched several movies, played games, took runs into Dairy Keen, went antiquing w/Scot, watched the deer in the backyard eat the fallen apples, and we did squeeze in a late afternoon with a photographer. Those pics will be coming soon! Not sure how that turned out.......it started raining 10 mins. into the shoot. Jack thought we were going to die because "what if we get caught in a tornado and die". He did try his best through all the shrieks to smile. We will see....... The photographer Jefra Linn was amazing with all her patience. We would run to the car and get warm for 2 mins. then run out and have her click, click away. She gave me all the confidence that we were getting some good material. Can't wait JEFRA.
