Olivia's 11th Birthday Party

Where have the years gone? My baby girl is so grown-up! She has blossomed into something quite extrodinare. For those of you who know her she is a girl who knows what she wants and will figure out a way to make things happen. Knowing it was her year to have a party with her friends the planning started months ago. Most nights during our "layby" session before going to bed she would pass her plans by her Mom. She had all sorts of schemes until we finally came up with what she thought would make for the funnest and most memorable 11th year ever. She wanted to do pranks on those in our neighborhood. But, sweet pranks that were left with a treat and a cute note to go along. So we came up with 3 ideas that her and the girlfriends made. The first one was "You've been TEEPEE'ed" ......they cut out brown paper indian teepee's and stuck them to popsicle sticks which would be stuck all over someone's lawn. The treat was marshmallows on a plate with pretzel sticks stuck in each. The second one was "You've been MOONED" .....same thing .....they cut out moons to stick all over the lawn with the treat being Moon Pies. The third one was "You've been SNOWBALLED" .......we threw cotton balls all over the lawn with a treat of powdered doughnut holes. ALL 14 girls piled into the car and we delivered our pranks! I think I had just as much fun as they did. :) Olivia said later "This is the funnest party ever!" We've never laughed so hard.

She hurried home from school to decorate her Birthday Cake.

She did an amazing job! And ohhhh so delish!

With 3 1/2 hours to fill....she did a great job.



She even got pranks for some of her gifts.....a glorified toilet plunger with candy in the plunger hole and a toilet paper roll that she had to un-roll to retrieve 11 one dollar bills.
