We had a fabulous weekend at home!
Wednesday of last week Scot comes home with 8 movies from our local library!
Now let me back up........we all (the kids and I) can't stand the movies from the library because they are so scratched up! You can count on getting about 40 mins. into a great romance and then "STUCK". Scot enjoys the rentals from there because it doesn't cost a thing. I try to explain to him that it really does cost a lot, OUR TIME wasted! So, after the first movie of 8 and the stuck problem happening.....he agreed that it isn't worth it.
It was the perfect weekend to watch movies inside because it was raining. So Saturday we sat around and did that all day. (and the movies were rented from the local Blockbuster.... thank you very much......)
Monday we had some friends over for a BBQ and swimming. It was actually very sunny and humid that day. We broke up the day with a round of tennis at Highland high. That was fun until about 20 mins into it Jack and I decided it was WAY to hot to be running around in the heat. We headed home and all jumped in the pool for a swim.
The peaches from UT. came in this last week and I decided to make a peach pie for the dinner. Mom had a awesome glaze that I made from scratch and it turned out to be a family favorite. DIVINE!!!! Too bad we can't have it all year long. It just isn't the same without those fresh peaches from Salt lake. Mmmmmm........
