"WE RAISE THEM TO DO WHAT'S RIGHT, THEN THEY DO IT AND WE CRY!"
The actual drop off has been one of the hardest things I've done as a Mother.
I wouldn't want him doing anything else right now and know that this is right in every way. But, it sure doesn't mean it's easy!
Along with every other family that was dropping off their Son or Daughter, we stopped to say our good-byes at the temple grounds.
The tears began flowing.
The 2 min. car ride to the MTC was silent.
Bro. so-and-so looked past Scot to me as we drove in and said, "MOM, you've got 2 mins to say good-bye and then you need to get going".
Yip, I know...... and it was just about that many mins.
Jess got out and there was an Elder ready to take him away.
And he did.
Just like that he was gone.
These pics are still hard to look at.
Too fresh.
One day I'll enjoy them more......
Couldn't be happier for him.
