The day we first met, I was smitten. Love at first sight? Yep, I'd pretty much agree. She had big bangs, and I mean big. That long, dark, and freshly permed hair seemed to do a doozy on me. I was hooked. After two years of dating and two years of waiting, she agreed to make me the happiest man alive. Was then, still am.
She's been my best friend for almost 25 years and I couldn't imagine this journey without her. On October 21, 1996 she became a mother for the first time. After a long few days agonizing over a newborn in the hospital, we brought Jesse home and then life truly began.
Soon followed Joshua, then Olivia, and finally the caboose boy, Jackson. Mother of four amazing and wonderful children, wife to a handful of a husband and friend to so many. What a great lady we are blessed with to call Mom. Although we call her Mom, she is so much more: friend, leader, secret keeper, confidante, adventurer, decorator, chef extraordinaire, creative, teacher and the glue that holds so much together.
Always up for an adventure and ways to build the memories that bind our family together.
