celebrating 50 years

Congratulations!

50 years together

 We all decided it would be a treat to celebrate in style!  

All 7 children and their spouses decorated and fluffed things up before we 

 met at Rick's in the early afternoon.  

The limo arrived and we piled in to go get Mom and Dad.

They were not in on the details.  All they knew was that they needed to be ready for pick up at 4:45pm. & dressed ready for a night out.  

We told them that Rick was going to be picking them up.  As we pulled up to their home we decided it would be fun to have them escorted out to the limo by our driver.  
This ended up taking a bit of time because Mom wouldn't answer the door to a stranger!  She had Dad come and figure out whether it was ok to open the door.  Meanwhile, we are anxious as can be awaiting their reactions to our ride we have provided.  


They finally came out!  


As you can see from Mom's face she was surprised.  
Mission accomplished!!!

 They were like little kids the whole ride......always asking about the destination.  

We enjoyed the conversation and time together getting to and from.

 We first stopped off for dinner at this very famous steak house in phoenix. 

 Mom and Dad have always loved  red meat. 

 A treat for sure.  

 This was top notch!

Even had our own menu done up.  

We enjoyed a few hours here enjoying each other and eating much.

 We then had the limo take us back across town to a good friends office.  

Comfortable seating in the theater where we watched a video we had put together of the Grand kids talking about all the many things they love about their Grandparents.  

It was so sweet and funny too.

They enjoyed it.  

We all had no problem giving up our time and energies to the 2 people who have given so much for each one of us!  They are truly an example of love and kindness.  So much goodness come from these two!
