life in 7 weeks

Its been 7 weeks with Valley Fever.  .....and from what Dr.'s are saying probably several more to go before this bug will leave.
Not fun.

After the last round of antibiotics didn't work I checked into the hospital for a few days.  More sticks and pricks, and they found out I've had Valley Fever this whole time.  The 3 rounds of antibiotics probably did more harm than good those first 3 weeks.

After 7 weeks of feeling like I was going to die, I think I am going to be ok.  Thanks to changing my diet, natural herbs, and major supplementation I am gaining more energy, my mind is calming down, and I feel happy again.  Wow.  This sickness has been life-changing in many ways.  Not just for me but everyone I love.  My kids have stepped it up with helping around the house. ( That is always an added bonus.)  Close friends have become even closer.  My relationship with Scot is better,  wow....I seriously love this guy!  AND.... I have been way more FERVENT with my prayers, reading my scriptures.

Much has happened in 7 wks....Life does not stop just because I'm sick!
Jack lost a tooth.
Olivia got her braces off.
Joshua had his 16th bday.
Scot went to Bandon Doons (the coveted trip of the year).
Primary activity ran smoothly, thanks to awesome counselors.
and
Jess had toe surgery, again!

I am prepared to post those chapters in the next week.  One step at a time.

Thanks for all your love and prayers, I feel them!
On to recovery!!!!

Oh, I'm so sorry. My dad had valley fever a few years ago, and I remember how miserable it was for him. Hope you fell better very soon.
