With Denise out of town, I thought I would take over and share a few insights I have received while doing the solo parenting thing.
- Jack said to me this morning, "Isn't it quiet in our house without Mom here?"
- Pizza, regardless of the quality, makes any Dad a hero in the eyes of his children.
- We use a lot of dishes; no wonder Denise like paper goods.
- I get in a lot less trouble when Denise is out of town.
- 80/20 Beef Hamburgers really do taste better than Turkey Burgers and again, the kids think I'm a hero.
- Girl Scout Thin Mint Cookie Ice Cream is a good negotiating tool.
- Dad's are great but Mom's are even better...and irreplaceable!!!
