These girls have become my new Best FRIENDS. We see each other and talk quite a bit these days.......It has been a year since we were all called into the Stake Young Women. Starting from left to right we have:CHRISTY Peterson- cutest laugh ever! Always ready for fun.
SHANNON Wrigley- nicest person you'll ever meet! Always sees the good in all things.
JEN Dille- dynamic! She is so talented and smart.
I just look up to them! So amazing!
We took a trip earlier this year up to Salt Lake City. and let me just add that everything we do or plan is always centered around FOOD! We all love it! Crave it! Share it! and devour it! They are all amazing cooks too!
We stayed at Christy's condo downtown. Our main reason for going was to be at the church training meetings that they put on each year. We learned so much! And brought back good material for our ward leaders. One of the other highlights was we hiked to Ensign Peak and waved our (handmade) banner. Memorable.
This picture above is at Camp Lomia. Our maiden voyage. don't we look amazing in our scrubs! We had great success with our theme "Believe in ME". We wanted to have each girl believe in herself and believe in Christ.
A wonderful sister in the stake wrote a song especially for our girls based on this theme. So powerful. We all sung with tears in our eyes the closing night. It was such a simple message of believing in what (he) sees in us and who we really are. And then taking that knowledge and believing in HIM.
This picture is of our stage where we held most all our gatherings. Centered on the temple......everything in Young Womens is to lead them to the temple.
One of the nights we all do skits. Our Presidency did a dance to the song from "Shrek" that goes....then I saw her face....now I'm a believer. Ok. now this was the funniest moment I think we have had all together. I have never been so out of breathe! We laughed and laughed! I guess Jen decided to do some fancy move at the end of our dance and instead did a Swwoosh on her tooosh! We had a kick watching it again and again on tape. Bonding moments......
These are some more amazing ladies......Our CAMP director Marie Karst (in the middle) and her counselors Julie Terry (left) and Laura Herr. They make everything perfect! What an honor it was to serve along side them.
